I've tried with vim-gtk providing gvim, and it also fails, so it's probably not
that.

It's vim-gnome, and the alternative points to /usr/bin/vim.gnome. Executing
'gvim' fires a graphical vim, but executing 'vim.gnome' fires a terminal-based

thanks
Hi,
I just tried the package (installed, did not do any additional
configuration) and it ran just fine. Do you get to the wizard window
where you can select between Emacs or Vim or does it hang before that?
Have you tried removing .pida2 in $HOME?
regards,
Marek
P.S.: The
Package: pida
Version: 0.5.1-5.1+b1
Severity: serious
Hi,
pida doesn't start here. It shows the splash screen and stops there.
Running pida -D I get:
$ pida -D
