Not that it matters. atilibusb needs no kernel driver (it uses only the
userspace libusb library; that's why I prefer to use it).

Sorry to be a bother, but are there any updates on this bug? Like a
work around or access to experimental packages? Been sitting tight with
unworking lirc for a little bit now.

It appears that two changes are needed.
1. --with-drivers=all (0.8.0)
--with-drivers=any (0.7.2; untested here)
2. don't descend into the drivers directory
With these changes, the drivers (userspace) are built; dev/input (which is
the one which I use) is working here.
