Hi,
I did a patch (3), to add an option to grep ('-a'). And
the package builds now. Attached the three patches in
case someone is in hurry.
As the package is orphan, I will clean some lintians and
update debhelper too.

I was thinking about talk to the upstream. But it
will take more time to solve the situation.
What about the bug ?

I read this on debian-policy:
"In case several development versions of a
library exist, you may need to use dpkg's
Conflicts mechanism"
https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-sharedlibs.html#s-sharedlibs-dev
Can this be a good argument ?

I have this on Qb/commons.pri:
isEmpty(PREFIX): PREFIX = /usr
isEmpty(EXECPREFIX): EXECPREFIX = $${PREFIX}
isEmpty(LIBDIR): LIBDIR = $${EXECPREFIX}/lib
And in debian/rules:
"LIBDIR=/usr/lib/$(DEB_HOST_MULTIARCH)"
Is the search recursive ?

Hi Chris,
I will do upload with a override_dh_auto_test
to stop the tests. The package builds that
way.
It is not a properly fix. If you have comments,

In my case.
Maybe because I am in a chroot the tests fail?

It isn't too earlier to do that ?
What do you have in mind ? Something is needing the new version(2.5.7) ?

I made the new debian package. 2.5.7-2. And uploaded to mentors.
No transitional package.
C
ort10.install do the job.
Is that correct ?

Why do you say that ?
I tested the package with all packages that depend on libgphoto2
and everything went ok.
In which package did you have problems ?
