I push play in Rhythmbox, I get
music. I'm not sure what is correct, so if you are, then I'm fine with
that.
This is a feature of jackd and not anything to do with pulseaudio, so
I would like to close this bug if that's ok with you.
The jack output works great, so it's very ok!

Rhythmbox). I get no sound, there seems to be no difference whether
a file is playing or paused: progress bar doesn't progress,
