Hello, I now have a seconde report of that problem, although with another window manager: wmi. I am getting the feeling that the problem is Gnome-WM / Non-Gnome-WM related. Could you run a Gnome WM (for example metacity) in an Xnest Window and test revelation there? regards Stefan -- Stefan
