t surely seems to be working for me. I
can create a new file, try to play it and it tells me I have a syntax error
somewhere, so it seems that everything's fine with me. Can you please give
more info, like which version of csound and tk do you have installed?

Since this bug is for xfree86, shouldn't it be closed, and new bugs opened for

This issue isn't consider severe upstream, and for a good cause: it only
affects some people (rarely), some times (rarely). I don't think this should
be consider critical nor a RC bug.

This bug should be considered Release Critical, since the fix to #453794 only
goes into lenny if this one is fixed.
