Hello,
The script /etc/init.d/qemu-guest-agent was modified by me to look at the
problem,
it is not the original one.
I use also a "home made" script to get clear informations through a dedicated
logfile :
#!/bin/bash
METHOD='virtio-serial'
ZPATH='/dev/virtio-ports/org.qemu.guest_agent.0'
Hello,
It is a "test" machine, so I install and uninstall many softs, this can lead
to that result if something gous wrong.
I correct that ... and will look in other machines to circumvent such a problem.

Hello,
Here the result :
grep users /etc/group /etc/gshadow
/etc/group:users:x:100:
/etc/gshadow:users:*::suricata
To circumvent the problem ;
1) I save /etc/gshadow, drop the "offending" line
and restart systemd --configure
with success
2) Restore the saved gshadow file.

Hello,
I had to find a suitable version of the BDB library
(libdb5.1_5.1.25-11), empty the /var/lib/ldap/ and launch slapd to
have the DB rebuilt. As the server is a "slave" server after a few
minutes the DB was resynchronized and all is OK now.
But the package in unstable is still unusable.
Hello,
I do some tries to solve my problem, but definitely the openldap package
is unable to cope with BDB's installed version.
I try to drop all files in /var/lib/ldap/my_domain, in a very old time I
solve such a problem by deleting all files, recreating a new database
with slapd -f /etc/ldap/sla
Hello,
Afetr the last update I test "slapd" and it works. The update was very
big so I can't say what library or program has corrected the problem.
I think that it is a new version as the version string has changed from
2.4.25-1+b1 to 2.4.25-1.1.
For me the bug is solved.

This is not a "minor" bug, it's a show-stopper that prevents the package
from working. I'm adding a lot more detail here in the hopes that a)
someone will make the trivial fix and b) to provide search engines more
detail in the meantime (it'd be really nice if I'd found this bug about
