Icedove 38~b5-1 is still a GTK2 application so it has no effect on the
problem that firetray loads GTK3 when libappindicator3-1 i

one in experimental.
Purging libappindicator3-1 solves the problem, but note that is a
package which xul-ext-firetray recommends.

shows GTK3 symbols in the stack being mixed with the GTK2 which
