Nico earlier visited OFTC #debian about this issue.
The problem appears similar to #432042. Firmware isn't being
transferred to the initrd via update-initramfs upon package
installation. As the firmware isn't available in the initramfs image,
it can't be loaded by the bnx2 module during boo
