Hello everybody,
among the tested release architectures, only i386 is failing.
I can update r-cran-dimred so that it excludes i386.
But would that mean I have to do that for its reverse-dependencies too ?

I agree that we can remove EMBOSS in all 32-bit platforms. I think that

Not supporting partial upgrades puts the maintainers of the r-cran and r-bioc

Package: emboss-explorer
Version: 2.2.0-7
Severity: grave
Hello everybody.
I just tried emboss-explorer on a minimal Wheezy system (7.1), and it
does not work out of the box. For each item in the menu, the main
frame reports "[item name] is not a valid EMBOSS application".
There are patches on
CC-BY-SA 2.0. This is unfortunate, as Debian's FTP team does not consider it
Free.
Perhaps you can clarify this with the Inkscape authors ? Maybe they intended
GPL-2 anyway...
Cheers,

Thanks Gregor. I just corrected th
really prefer to use the Upstream init scripts, but the patch you sent
seems to install new scripts in the debian directory instead. Could you give
us a bit more explanations on your patch ?

Hi all,
the problem was fixed in a new upstream release. I hope to upload it
within a week.

I also did not have time to try the development version.
Please feel free to take the lead on this issue: I am still very busy and
next weekend I may be away from the keyboard as well.

ase go ahead,
the road is clear.
(But I need to add that on my system, the package builds only with sudo, not
with fakeroot)
