Today's upgrade (20151002) brought upgrades to the glx-alternative-* packages, they are now at version 0.6.93 However, that failed to fix kdm, which still shows a lightdm screen. However, I think that I understand why this happens. This is the output of the latest systemctl status kdm.service -
