Any news on that one?
mysql-workbench is stuck in unstable since more than a year now, and it is not
in testing anymore since September. The freeze is approaching: do we will not
have mysql-workbench in Stretch?

Choosing the manual mode n. 3 (/usr/lib/nvidia/bumblebee) made my Xorg server
usable again.
I don't know if the bug is in some post-install script or if the bumblebee
priority (if bumblebee is used) should be higher than nvidia one. But for sure
something gone wrong with the alternatives.

Anyway screen glitches during fade-in fade-out and.
I removed splashy packages, for now, I will retry later, restarting from
scratch... Holidays are for me too!

initrd
line from GRUB (my kernel can boot without initrd, but I need it for
uswsuspend), boot fails because /dev is completely screwed up.

Hi.
Problem solved: purged compiz packages, removed all compiz related key
from gconf tree, reinstalled compiz, now full working.

The problems has disappeared re-upgrading Compiz from 0.0.13 to 0.2.0 (I
was following up my own post and I found yours...): don't ask me why,
I'm wondering what's happened.
