Laptop top users can't really use splashy because of this bug; I'm
surprised this is not an RC bug. I wouldn't want this to be in a stable

Thank you very much for you report. It is valuable and I already
tracked down the problem.
It seems that fakechroot missing another syscall: fstatat64. It is a
little bit strage, because it works correctly on amd64 architecture
but it fails on i386 only.
I'll try to fix it ASAP.
