I can confirm that using 100.14.19 everything works fine. I just
uninstalled nvidia-kernel-* and nvidia-glx and manually installed the
newest version directly from Nvidia and Xorg starts up with no problems.
I'm anxiously awaiting the packaged version of this driver so I can get
rid of this nvidia-
