Bug#308740: clamav-dae
Would it not be appropriate for the sarge release to have this built for
architectures it /does/ work on, by setting the Architecture: header?
This would allow the severity of this bug to be downgraded, getting
ext2resize back into Sarge, and BE support to be worked on for etch.

Yes. I think the problem was not noticed before because if tetex-base is
unpacked before ivritex, this sentence of Policy applies:

Adam,
Dbmail-1.2 contains a possibility for sql-injection, and I'm not going to fix
it. Nor is any of the other developers involved in dbmail. As such it doesn't
belong in a stable release.
Still, I don't want to create unnecessary hassles for the existing dbmail
userbase by confronting them with

On Florent's request, I'm currently building a fixed tetex-base
package with this fix in it. So that these sorts of things can be
fixed for release, please can we avoid tampering with the main
branches of the tetex-* CVS repositories; it seems silly to have a
separate branch just for this release

It doesn't segfault when running via strace, so it seems to be an

This bug is not a release-critical bug. As you have noted, there are
"workarounds" available, two of which are:
- talk to mysql on 127.0.0.1
- use mount --bind
These are, arguably, not workarounds at all, but simply required
configuration steps for the desir
