Good point. I moved the associated maintainer script from racoon to
ipsec-tools as it's indeed a possible case that someone *only*
removes racoon. This will be in 1:0.7.3-3 soon.
In case of upgrade of either ipsec-tools or racoon i'll keep the
SA/SD as

Unfortunately we're not able to go back with the firmware updates on
our phones to eliminate this dought.

Alessandro,
thanks for your bug-report. I just reviewed the init-script and it
seems that the set -e stanza is not required anyway. Does that look
like an acceptable solution to you? If so, please report back so i
can merge this into the next release.
thanks

this might really have been solved in a more recent version.
I'm going to close this bug then soon but it would be nice to get a
positive response from you Pavel.

Andrew,
i totaly misunderstood your bug-report. Here is what i got:
In previous versions (like yours 1:0.7.1-1.5) racoon had no stop-link in
the runlevels 0 and 6 (halt and reboot) so that was triggering sendsigs
to kill the remaining processes.
Since 1:0.7.3-1 there are also links in runlevel 0
you are sattisfied with
the work i did please?
Cheers

Bernhard,
thanks for your report. The description about the purpose of
ca-certificates will get rephrased with the next release (hopefully
beeing in experimental in a few days).
Mind giving a feedback if this is more clear for you then?

Maitland,
according to /usr/share/doc/ca-certificates/README.Debian
more than one person is required to include a CA. Seems like nobody
else is interested in this CA since almost 7 years.
Can this bugreport be closed?

Guys,
whats the current status on this bug? I'm having the same problem as
the bug author.
Using the "old" madwifi driver eliminates this problem but i want to
stick to the ath5k driver. Ideas?
