Here's a patch to fix this. Works around by strdup-ing optarg. The
free at the end could just be conditional, but this is simpler.

so I won't be able to do any further debugging on this for now. I
assume that since I provided a test case that somebody else can handle
it from here. Can't you just use a porter box for this?
