I suggest a "finest" thing :

I also would like to see a newer version of global in debian. Some very
useful options of global/gtags are missing, and it's a bit sad as global is

I can confirm we observed the same behaviour on a NFS client AND a NFS
server.
This makes NFS not working properly after an upgrade.
