Better late than never . . .
Sorry for leaving this (zoneminder has slipped down my focus list in
recent times) . . . I can apply the patch to the (debian) zoneminder
repo and have an updat
Let it go through; I've got hardware issues preventing me from

Right now my ZM setup is completely broken (combination of SW and HW
probs). I really would like to get it running again, and will probably
spend a bit of serious time over Christmas looking at it. If things are
still as they are now, I almost certainly *will* push "o

My build+test environment has been down for a while, and is only back
together again as of Easter. I am about to put out a final 1.23.3
release to close bug #517569, then I'll get back to making 1.24
ver it's
failing to upgrade from previous versions. Once that's resolved it will
go into the repo.

These are currently being fixed in the nex

machine failures last week. If you can give me access to your sever
running zoneminder with lighttpd and I'm happy it works, I can try to
work out how to add it specifically as an option in the dependencies.

The issue here is that moving the mysql server to a machine different to
the machine running zoneminder itself is that it will almost certainly
introduce performance issues.
The upstream developer recommends against this and does not do any
testing of cross machine storage.

As Alberto mentioned, zoneminder 1.24.* relies on the interface of
ffmpeg 0.5 - given I can't see that that is going to go into lenny,
there's no way that 1.24.* will be going into lenny.
Sorry about that,

Have confirmed that the package is explicitly installing
into /usr/share/perl/5.10.0 (As opposed to,
