Hi,
I noticed that git-import-orig's filter option does not remove files from
committed pristine tarball. Files are actually removed in upstream branch
but not in pristine-tar branch.
Is it done on purpose?

don't work with current Emboss from Squeeze.
So, Squeeze's emboss is not supported upstream (as you said) and is left
without embassy-* packages. Does it make sense to you to drop emboss from
Squeeze too? It looks like the best option we have, imho.
