All,
Never mind, its just in the pool yet. If you need to fix this, just
download and install:
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/p/php4-imagick/php4-imagick_0.9.11

Thanks all for the report/fixing this issue.

Matej,
I have 4.3.10-13 installed, and it seems the latest version is 4.3.10-13, at
least according to:
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/p/php4/
Is there another version that you know works?
Thanks,
Matt

I will be sure to use it in future!
The problem was caused by a conffile (ip2user.txt) that was renamed in

want to require that users use a kernel that doesn't
misbehave like this, shouldn't you add an autoconf test that checks
for this behavior and falls back to some other method?

Can we get a bug status update on this? Are the relevant packages going
to be modified to have the right files in them? Is there an interim
workaround? What projections do we have a fix being uploaded?
Matt (still waiting for gnucash to be working again)

Did anything happen to fix this bug??
I can't do much in the current version of Audacity to fix this,
unfortunately. This problem affects all programs that are still using
GTK 1.2 (audacity, gnucash, etc.). You can fix the problem on your

Since updating the the alphas I haven't noticed the hanging problem.
