You should probably run build-repository after.

is is not an apt-build problem if apt-get don't
want to upgrade, apt-build won't upgrade since it ask apt-get to know
which packages are to be upgraded.
So there is a mistake somewhere.
The question is where is 1.15.1-4 available?
Could you run apt-cache policy tar ?

Ok so the problem is, if I understand. that apt-build would like to
upgrade, but cannot because it can't find sources for the tar version
requested.
Could you check your sources.list and:
apt-get source tar=1.15.1-4
--

out this, I did not understand what reference you were talking about.

Hello,
Please consider removing xen.
New xen-3.0 splited packages are upcoming, making this one obsolete.

Because we do plan to package and support several major releases of Xen
at the same time.
Furthermore, upgrade from Xen 2 is not possible. This has been discussed
_a lot_ on the Xen Debian mailing list.

I don't use it anymore and I won't personaly rewrite it.
So you can request removal.

Hello,
Since I really would like official Xen 3.0 packages, I am just offering
help about packaging this.
Adam, I don't know if you have time for this or not, but if you can at
least let me know if you need help, and how I can help, it would be
great !

Attached is a patch fixing this attack.
This patch should be reviewed, of course.
I tested it quickly and it seems to work fine.

Hello,
Please considers removing timecode-dev from the archive.
Martin Michlmayr pointed out in #355395 that even examples do not
compile, and the maintainer email address is "unrouteable".
I think this package is useless.

Hello,
This package does not compile anymore, even with the patch submitted.
Moreover, the maintainer email address seems to be bouncing.
Maybe this package should be removed from the archive.

Hello Joey,
Do you still plan to upload a new version fixing this RC bug ?
I won't upload a NMU since you asked to "wait", maybe you should tag
this pending.
