Containers created with the debian lxc-create template will show a login

This can be fixed by using the inittab from the debian template (attached).

At install time, I accepted the default location of /srv/lxc/containers for
lxc. However, lxc-create
wants to put them under /var/lib/lxc, and /etc/lxc/lxc.conf has
lxcpath=/var/lib/lxc. AFAICT,
my answer was ignored.

This is quite useful for, eg, i386 vs. amd64 distinctions.
I see some code in the template about it, but I am never asked.

I get a lot of:
"Should Linux Container (LXC) support be enabled? This defaults to false.
live-debconfig: Enable LXC?"
when running lxc-create -t debconfig. I suspect these relate to some of the
choices I made, but it is never clear which.
That is the problem then. This was on an i386 machine running the amd64 kernel
- which is part of the i386 distro. This is a valid and working combination.

Hi Alexander,
Just to be clear, what precisely is the output of uname on your system?
If you modify the script to accept that, then does it appear to work?
What is the proper value for ESED on your system? (FreeBSD is using
'sed -E', Linux is using 'sed -r')

Yes, you are quite right. That is a pretty easy fix.
Since I got my Kindle, I have not really been listening to podcasts
anymore. I can certainly make a release with this fix, but I'm
wondering if you have any interest in taking over hpodder in some
fashion or other?

That *should* work, and in fact, I know it used to.
I suspect maybe there was an API change to GetOpt.
Does it work with:
hpodder settitle -c 47 '--title=off the hook'
?

Hi folks,
I believe that this is a bug in GetOpt - actually a regression from what
it used to do. You can note the examples in the bug log of how it fails
in certain ways now.
Thanks,
Joey,
Does the attached patch fix the problem for you? Update and lseps on
your example podcast, at least, work for me with it.

I’m trying to reproduce it with a small example, but failed to do so:
