Since some time now, Mate doesn't show the weather.
Here is a commit fixing it, maybe it can be backported easily to the Jessie
version:

What about Stable Etch?
The bug isn't fixed in Etch, people using Etch can't run DOSEmu
properly with accented characters, etc.., and that will happen for 1
year and a half?
Thanks for your consideration.

This problem is found on the 1.2.7-4 Debian Stable/Etch version of the

This is not related to the SSL certificate problem.
When enabling the remote administration option through lynx

Hello.
Any news regarding this?
The last message from Bastian Blank dated 27 Oct 2007 contained a
patch but nobody answered and the package hasn't been uploaded since
then, it is still stuck on unstable.
I am not demanding anything, just doing a ping :-).
Thanks!!!

Followup-For: Bug #502447
I can't reproduce this bug neither, I have been using this program yesterday.
The original submitter has a strange version of libwxbase2.6-0 and
libwxgtk2.6-0 2.6.4.0-2rpd that I cannot find in Debian, maybe thats the
problem?
HTH.

Hello.
I didn't understand anything of what you said, I am not a security
expert anyway, and I am not a maintainer of this packages.
But anyway, the problem exists in the new Etch version 2.0.0.17-0etch1?
And does it exist in Lenny 3.0.3-2?
Thanks for your help.
Bye.

/usr/lib/iceweasel/plugins/ to see if they cause the problems.
I don't know, maybe try to reinstal iceweasel or xulrunner, etc.
Hope this helps, bye.

There is a patch in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156992 that
maybe should be included for Lenny.
Also, in comment 48 (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156992#c48)
there is a small sample HTML file to test thi
info there.
Thanks.

f other problems too.
So, having the 0.9 version in experimental or in backports.org would
be really nice for some users since it would be much easier to install
than having to check-out a branch in a VCS and compile and pray for it
to work as expected... ;-)
Thanks for considering doing this!
