If i chmod -x /etc/init.d/kdm in order to avoid kdm to start i have brightness control in the tty, Once I start kdm again the problem appears again, so i think you should close this bugreport or redirect it to the propper package Thanks

I found that after upgrading executing sudo it responded sudo: unable to resolv host unknownX, so i looked into /etc/hosts and i found it changed but the problem is i did already corrected changing hostname with hostname binary, i didn't look into the other diles but my terminal was like this:
