applied a patch in the git repo [1], which will solve this problem.

This is a known bug of boinc (libboinc-app-dev), which is fixed in the
next upload (7.0.65+dfsg
l needs to be adjusted somewhere...
btw, I'm setting severity to important for this bug raises privacy
concerns. (input sequence can be recovered from log easily.)
