Sorry, no sensors were detected.
Either your sensors are not supported, or they are connected to an
I2C or SMBus adapter that is not supported. See
http://www.lm-sensors.org/wiki/FAQ/Chapter3 for further information.
Hi,
Moments ago I installed linux-image-2.6.27-rc5-686-bigmem from
http://kernel-archive.buildserver.net/debian-kernel/pool/main/l/linux-2.6/
and it seems that this one works fine! E.g. it doesn't oops like
linux-image-2.6.26-1-686-bigmem does on my via epia.

Fyi: moments ago I installed linux-image-2.6.27-rc5-686-bigmem and that
one doesn't show any sensors too.

The module loads but sensors-detect finds nothing:
dme173730948 0
hwmon_vid 3552 1 dme1737
i2c_core 21460 6
dme1737,i2c_via,i2c_algo_bit,i2c_dev,eeprom,i2

I think this should work:

(see http://www.lm-sensors.org/wiki/Devices and
s well. That is a
plain pseries without LPARs.

cannot start vpn from commandline via network-manager
I've got a vpn configured in network-manager. I can successfully start
it from the network-manager gui.
Now I would like to have it automatically started as soon as
/etc/network/if-up
telling me that a login failure occured: if I then manually click on the
connection and let it start with the parameters it already knows
(including password), it connects fine.

Ok this fixed the problem that installing from a virtual optical drive
failed during the package-installation.
A new problem, though, is that when c
es drivers that do not
seem to be needed for this system (well at least during installation)).
