recompiled from deb-src with --enable-largefiles added to rules
file works fine.
I'm using Debian GNU/Linux 4.0, kernel 2.6.18-4-486 and libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13.

I see. Anyway such a misspointing isn't good for a stable.
I've got service outage much more then expected in the firm belief that
package is LFS-aware.
Hope this would be fixed in next releases.
