The problem seems to be that there is no rule to make smapi_call.o
from the smapi_call.s file that is provided in the tarball.
This can be fixed by renaming smapi_call.s to smapi_call.S.

in iceweasel. The gnome force quit
dialog may be kind of naive in how it operates, it may just expect the
window to me closed after clicking the close button a certain number
of seconds later. If that's the case I would call this more a bug in
gnome.
