I don't know if these binaries are policy or just a help, but perhaps, in

Unfortunately, scsiinfo is not maintained for years and I even don't
have access to scsi disks anymore to do extensive tests.
Btw, a new tool named sginfo, which is somehow a derivative work from
scsiinfo, is available in sg3-utils Debian package. Can you try it and
see if it works better for you?

I upgraded the kernel to version 3.2.0 with package
linux-image-3.2.0-0.bpo.4-amd64, and found that the bug no longer
occurs. Since this is the default version for wheezy I would propose to
close this bug.

I am having the exact same problem with apt-cacher-ng eating 25% of the
CPU as the original reporter. I am running Debian Wheezy.
The runaway cpu usage starts after the the daily cron job is launched if
apt-cacher-ng has been running for multiple hours.

I Use Audacity to export a flac file in 24 bit format but mpd make noise
when a play it ? There is no problem when i play it in audacious or
other common player.

This has been happening to me as well (about every other day), usually while
running Firefox. Is there any new status for this? I can find little
information about "Active ring not flushed". Attached is the X server log, in
