Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for reply about this problem, but the laptop with rt2500 wireless
card died 6 or 7 months ago (a graphic card crash), so I can't try the 3.1
kernel version. I think that after a lot of tests (compiling a new module
version using compat-wireless project, compiling the drivers fr
Hi again,
Finally, after analyzing my laptop's hard disk, I have remembered the final
solution, that was using Ndiswrapper with rt2500 Windows drivers. It was
the only way...
Greetings, David.

Hi Jonathan,
The laptop with this issue is dead, so don't worry. I can't remember the
details, but I think I solved this problem, althought I don't know how
exactly.
It doesn't matter now, so you can mark this bug as closed.
Thank you very much, David.
Hi again,
Of course I remember. It was a "Targa", model "Traveller 1576 X2". If you
need more details about the hardware, I have all the manuals yet.
Greetings, David.
Hi again,
I have updated my kernel to 2.6.30-1-686 version and, as you said, the bug
has been solved.
Are you going to patch the bug with 2.6.26-2 kernel?? (Only curiosity,
because I think that once installed, i will work with 2.6.30-1 version).
Greetings.

Well, obviously it wasn't my intention to publish my WPA-PSK passwords :).
Don't worry, I will change them.
Sorry.

Hi again,
I need to compile the graphics card drivers (Nvidia) and I can't find
headers for 2.6.35 kernel in the repository (deb
http://ftp.debian.org/debian experimental main).
Instead, I install linux-image-2.6.36-rc5-686, that has header packages
available, but I can't install header packages

In this case I don't lose the connection to the AP, but the link quality and
transfers speed are still low.

Hi all,
Sorry about the delay responding the message, but the last months I was very
busy. Let me 1 or 2 weeks to make some probes, and I'll tell you if the
problem still exists and any other information that can help.
Greetings, David

Well, as I said in my last message, this is the amule output when it starts
using UPnP:

Hi again,
I've tried aMule UPnP again but using another router (Thompson), newer than
the other one. This time, UPnP worked perfectly, so I suppose the problem
can be caused by my old router, but I don't know why.
Greetings, David.
