Well,
Some time ago, actually in December 2003, I was trying to use kino on
powerpc, and I got the exact same problem, I could see that Kino
actually didn't care about the endian issue, I've made a little patch at
that time that made the video ok, I submitted a bug report to kino, but

Package: gnomebaker
Version: 0.3-3
Severity: important
When using gnomebaker to create audio cds from mp3 files, it uses the
mpg321 converter, which is not generating correct audio-cd files. These
files are then padded by cdrecord and it causes some random noise in the
audio tracks while playing.
BTW,
I tested the patch (only with a little difference) and it not just only
worked, but it avoided the padding in cdrecord and it was many times
faster than the mpg321 version.
The only difference was that I splitted the "-t cdr" parameter in two
lines, as I wasn't sure if passing it as a single

I now looked at examples, and the cvs package, which contains an epoch

So, It's all my fault! ;)
I'll be fixing it today...

Hi,
I'm working on support for i386-pc-linux-uclibc. It should be very
similar to powerpc-linux-uclibc. Here are the patches for i386, probably
with similar changes you can get it for powerpc.
I still have problems building, but I'm not sure it's related with these
changes.

I think the patch should be reverted because it's unreasonable to divert
library behaviour from upstream.
I would consider that as critical just because the bug is bad enough for
being released in stable (but that is up to the maintainer).
