More info about trayer behavior under my amd64 box.
If trayer is run under a xterm, only shows up if i open another terminal :?
Also noticed that gdeskcal, docker and fbpanel do the same. Even if i
run plain x with no fvwm or gnome.
¿Maybe is a focus problem with gtk2 apps?
Ive just installed gkrellmms and it shows the same behavior mentioned.
mms is fine without xmms running, if xmms plays any song i have (right

Hi, ive a similar problem here. After last Alsa update sound has become choppy.
I have no loaded modules except nvidia.
My system is a PIII-450 with an es1370 that worked without sound
problems yesterday.
Also, esd (my sound daemon) seems to need more CPU than before (3% at most now).
Also tested with and without esound's output. Mplayers sounds fine
using ALSA or OSS plugins, also Rhythmbox with ossink or alsasink,
even xmms works fine with ALSA. So, it seems to be a problem with
