Bug#460442: License problems in Miro 1.1

2008-01-31 Thread Christopher Halse Rogers
You should probably be aware of http://bugzilla.pculture.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9523 It seems that Miro 1.1 is unredistributable due to the linking of GPL'd code to OpenSSL, and it's non-trivial to disable this linking. Upstream is looking at this, but until then I don't think Miro 1.1 can go into De

Bug#493529: Waiting on upstream

2008-08-24 Thread Christopher Halse Rogers
Upstream's releases don't contain a build system, and various other niceties - even though their SVN has a serviceable build system. I've filed a bug upstream[1], and they seem to want to release a useful tarball. As such, I'd prefer not to build it from an svn snapshot, and will wait for a new r

Bug#436201: Multiarch plugins

2008-01-21 Thread Christopher Halse Rogers

Yup, it's broken. I fixed this upstream in 0.8.1, so the next upload should fix this. On 3/17/09, Sam Morris wrote: > Package: gnome-do > Version: 0.8.0-1 > Severity: normal > > GNOME Do ships an xdg autostart file, so GNOME starts it whenever I log in. > > However, I noticed that there is a "Sta
