I found the solution to this issue: in /etc/ssl/certs, there must be a symlink to "DigiCert_Global_Root_CA.pem" named "3513523f.0" Reinstalling ca-certificates was not sufficient, because following link was existing: DigiCert_Global_Root_CA.pem -> /usr/share/ca-certificates/mozilla/DigiCert_Glo
