same for lib32* packages. Maybe you could suppress this warning based
on the package name starting with lib32/lib64? exception is the libc6
naming.
the *-has-useless-call-to-ldconfig could be avoided as well.

typing modules_ after it and then hitting tab twice to get a list
which options you have there's missing modules_image. You've got
to type it manually.
It's annyoing but not a real bug. I tried to fix it for myself but
could not find out what causes this behavior.

use -O2 on sparc, fixed for gcc-4.1. maybe keep the report open, so
you can remove the workaround then?

forgot: just disabling the check in the configure script should be
enough to fix it.

to get the include directory and the include file, use:
$ gcc --print-file-name=include/jni.h
/usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.0.2/include/jni.h
$ gcc --print-file-name=include
/usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.0.2/include
however, that directory is in the standard include path.

The SQL query:

Returns a number > 0...
Any ideas what could be wrong ?

Is there a reason, that hunspell doesn't build a shared library? At
least it's a released version.
