Indeed emacs is unresponsible for a couple of seconds after startup.
This drawback could possibly be circumvented if instead something like

was used, loading the translation rules when needed.

For the toolchain update to use the new GNU_TYPE's, the hppa builds
needs a /usr/hppa64-linux-gnu/include symlink. Please keep the old

The debian build files need

Package: crystalspace
crystalspace should not be packaged as a native package, at least it
uses already the versioning for upstream packages.

Package: mailscanner
Version: 4.40.11-1
Followup-For: Bug #305239
I have the same problem, too. It started after i apt-get upgraded to
version 4.40.11-1 from 4.39.xxx
After the following line a new process is created:
Apr 28 12:41:34 MailScanner[17440]: MailScanner child dying of old age
This is a retranslation from the german error message so it might be not 100%
correctly.

the gcj build dep can be dropped, if libgcj-dev is added.
