I have replaced mpic++.$(ARCH_DEFAULT_MPI_IMPL) by
mpicxx.$(ARCH_DEFAULT_MPI_IMPL), which is provided by both OpenMPI and
MPICH, in the gyoto rules file.
I still think the original assumption to be able to use
