This issue is now invalid, as GitHub now doesn't allow using the API with
user/password credentials, we can't create a Token from the API anymore,
and tokens should always be created manually.
This should be closed as "won't fix" or "invalid", if that's possible.

There was some discussion in the upstream issue, and one improvement to be
more explicit where the configuration is being written.
This is considered a "won't fix" (or fixed, depending on how you see it)
upstream, so it should be probably be closed here too.
