What use has the dependency on libaprutil1-dbd-sqlite3, considering
apache2 is not linked against it?
I was unable to even find anything in the package for which ldd
reports one of the dbd libraries being needed…

Dear Maintainer,
I recently came across this bug:

In short the DNS resolver fail with a TypeError when the name cannot be

I'm interested in packaging doh-cli. I have already working on that locally.
Apparently jhdf has a patch committed in Salsa which would fix a FTBFS
(which currently prevents hdfview from installing in sid). Is there are
reason for not uploading it?
Thanks, Giovanni.

Hi folks!
I'm adding a CC to Steve Capper, a colleague in Arm who's our expert
here for this kind of question. He's also a DM in Debian... :-)

JFTR, it's been backported to gcc 9 and is available in Debian's gcc-9
as of
Package: libpango1.0-0
Version: 1.42.4-8

Dear Maintainer,
I have some packages installed that depend on this virtual package (cairo-
compmgr, deadbeef-static, flashplugin-nonfree). Thus I can't upgrade pango-
related packages to 1.44, because there is no 1.44 version for this

Hi,
Seems like this is a bug in dh-make-golang:
https://github.com/Debian/dh-make-golang/blob/b1321ff661b2f397e9d266abba10447cdde35c83/make.go#L147
Filing it on GitHub is probably the best idea, as is contemplating a
fix.
Best,
Ben

It looks like this works around the problem somehow:
ln -sf
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/pivy/_coin.{cpython-38-x86_64-linux-gnu.,}so
It is worth noting that this error prevents accessing the "Arch"
workbench at all.
