After noticing that Audacity in Debian does not load AAC (mp4 audio)
files, I tried to enable FFmpeg library in settings. However Audacity
told me that 'FFmpeg support is not compiled in'. Please enable ffmpeg
support in Audacity

Dear maintainer,
After a few more days digging, I noticed that a new log file is created
every time the user does not save his changes. When the user saves his
work and quits, all the log files are removed leaving alone the last
one.
I do not know whether this is the expected behavior or not.

the interpreter line, so they would work regardless of the alternatives system,
but they need an installed ruby1.8 interpreter.

Some additional info: If you try to use a proxy to debug this, you'll
see a different bug involving an invalid GET request:
https://github.com/mitmproxy/mitmproxy/issues/228
...so you'll have to use a transparent proxy of some sort to catch this
in the act.
