I'm trying to track down the low battery life on a Dell Latitude D6220
with BIOS version A03. The ACPI thermal zone always indicates 25
degrees (although both coretemp and i8k indicate reasonable values), and
rebooting hangs without reboot=pci.

Yes please. They're not defined in the builtin "Help -> User's Manual" either,
but they're used in the manual's example outputs.
Even the NEWS file only describes {a} (automatic), {u} (unused), and {p}
(purged), scattered around in the list. There's no mention at all of
