As far as I understand, dig is being built without IDN support.
I'm trying to do a query in this fashion, "dig @localhost torbjørn.no",

+1 for building dig with IDN support, although I don't know if or how
that would effect BIND.

There's something seriously broken in the Berkeley DB build system,
because it got broken by --enable-test vs --disable-test. I'm going to
report that upstream.
So even it's seems as a waste of CPU time, I have to build the
packages with --enable-tcl (because that's the dependency of
--enable-test

Hi together,
does someone know if this patch has been applied already to
linux-image-2.6.38-bpo.2-amd64 (2.6.38-3~bpo60+1)?
I installed this image yesterday and had the idea to test the
drm.edid_strict=0 parameter on it today. - It works like a charm. ;)
Dunno why my patch didn't work... (But I do

I tried it with different GTK themes, but I'm not talking about notes

Hi all,
may I cast my vote for removing /all/ the ttf-lyx fonts from the font
selector? While e.g. the cmr10 font can be used for normal text, its
use often leads to problems due to its non-standard use of glyphs. At
least in the Ubuntu bug tracker there are quite a few bugs about
people using cmr

Hi,
It appears that files in /etc/cron.d must not be group
writable. This is not documented and does not seem to
be necessary. It would be nice if the requirement
did not exist. (Note: I did not check to see if this
problem exists with /etc/c

Hi,
Files in /etc/cron.d that have group write permissions will

Sorry about that, I missed the test.c part completely. I can reproduce
the bug.
It does not occur in a freebsd chroot.

Passing the -y option (read password from file) causes failure to bind.
Example:

However, the following will work:

Hi,
When cron finds a crontab file has the wrong permissions
(and perhaps the wrong owner, I didn't check) it refuses
to execute the cronjobs in that file until the file
is deleted and re-created. It is not enough to
correct the problem and touc
