A new information: I used my netbook in the last three hours with
"acpi=no" enabled in GRUB. The internal/external screens worked fine.
Then, I think there are a little problem in video driver related to
ACPI events.

Saw this same problem on boot again. Had dist-upgraded several
hours before rebooting.
Reinstalling gnome-power-manager and then killing gconf got
it working again this time. (Killing and restarting gconf
did not help before reinstalling gnome-power-manager, and
/usr/share/gconf/schemas/gnome-pow
