I installed Lenny on a spare computer last night and only installed the
standard packages from the tasksel dialog. From there I installed apache
and added `TraceEnable off` to /etc/apache2/apache2.conf. I then
telnet'd to myself and tested the HTTP Trace method. Again, `TraceEnable

and restarting iceweasel seemed to fix the problem.

To make gnupg(2) really quiet, you usually need --batch and --no-tty.
The --quiet option is described as "Try to be as quiet as possible."
This already implies, that you will still get some output. So "too
noisy" does not really describe a bug here. To avoid any output, use the
--no-tty switch

Could you modify the dependency lists in debian/control to have each
dependency on a seperate line, i.e.:

debhelper (>= 5),
python-central,
