A quick workaround is to remove and reinstall tailor.

pdnsd installed and resolv.conf contains a single line with 127.0.0.1.
I have the same problem as Nelson. Wireshark shows that virtualbox
sends dns requests to 127.0.1.1 instead of 127.0.0.1. But pdnsd
