Version: 1.13a-1
Severity: wishlist
There's a new upstream release of Magic Point.
It brings many bug fixes and works on x86_64 whereas the actual package
doesn't.
I managed to build a new package on my box.

Hey there, Corey.
Some of this text has changed in the SVN release, but I've incorporated
the changes that still make sense into r552.
Kari, Corey's patch should be valid directly against 0.27; feel free to
incorporate it into a revbump.

Hi,
you changed this package to only build on i386 and amd64, care to share
the reasons? libx86 contains an x86 emulator, as stated in the package
descriptions, to allow running x86 code on other architectures.
Cheers,

Hi,
in my view the correct way to fix this bug is to make the package
"Architecture: all" as no architecture specific content is generated. An
according patch is attached.

Hi,
the latest upload of this package swapped the rules for binary-arch and
binary-indep. This resulted in this FTBFS bug. The attached patch
reverses the change and binary-arch only builds should be possible
again.

I succeded to connect my GPSMAP 60CS using "ttyUSB0" as serial port.
Sorry to trouble you! I'm still a newbie in Linux...

Hi Lucas
Thanks for the report.
However I do not understand the error code in this case. It complains about
a stray '\' but there is no '\' character in that file. Have you seen this
before and know what the problem is?
Best regards,
