Small nit here: the proper form would be

Hi,
bf_compact uses mawk. I think you should edit the file and use awk
instead of installing a dependency on mawk.

You need to submit a BTS issue against the ftp.debian.org
pseudopackage, asking for the removal of the binary packages for the

Please fix this issue. The lack og nostrip support make it harder to
debug the program with valgrind when it segfaults. :)
I did not know this when I proposed to use nostrip in

Given the genericness of the mawk command, is there any reason to
call mawk instead of awk in bf_compact?

There's an annoying bug introduced in openbox 3.4.6.1 that, among
other things, causes certain keybindings to get lost when openbox is
used with vmware. Search for vmware here:

It's because it moved from libpcap0.7 to libpcap0.8 as part of the
libpcap0.8 transition (for lenny). But it should probably have the

I made a [1]package for stable that will close the bug. And i've contacted the

bug, so i probably it will be uploaded to stable-proposed.
However i didn't finished yet with the tests, so i'm not pretty sure that t

I have the same problem, and looking at the scripts I noticed that all
the shell variables were between quote (for example "${COMMONOPTIONS}"):
removing the quotes did the trick for me. I think it may be due to the
fact that some of those options are empty for me.
