I can confirm this problem in versions 2.4.2.1-2 and 2.6.1 too. It seems
as the only problem is that marked text in the fields with a button is
unmarked when the control looses focus. Hence does Ctrl-C/Ctr

automatically generates rules to have persistent names for network
interfaces.
