This may be a bug in the general ntpd implementation. If so, a patch
back to the maintainers would be welcome.
I can confirm that my Debian box does the same thing (makes too many

The avahi-utils package is for architecture 'all' yet it contains binaries for
the powerpc architecture:

I am attempting to get this into Debian, but have struck
a problem to do with copyright. You can read about it
here:

Can you shed any light on this so I can move forward?

Package: xlockmore
Version: 5.13-2.1
Followup-For: Bug #318123
Tags: patch
The general design issue here is that xlock (unlike e.g. xscreensaver
which kills the X server along with) gives access to the screen when
it is killed by a signal, i.e. any way to crash it becomes an
authentication bypass
I use -l 2 myself, so I would love to see this patch included.

inverses of each other and are in two dif

As a modern, forward-thinking person, I've banished support for OSS

seem to have ALSA support, even though sweep appears to have had ALSA
support for about 2.5 years.

If I'm not mistaken, if you use db lookups for groups in nsswitch.conf,
followed by files, this leads to double group membership. For example,
